This is a photo of a Ruby-Throated Hummingbird doing its thing.  I noticed from a distance some activity amongst the Red flowers and sure enough it was Hummingbirds but only Rufous Hummingbirds which I’m sorry to say are not as brightly colored as the Ruby-Throated Hummingbird. I decided to just wait and see and sure enough my patience paid off when this guy showed up for just a little while, soon leaving and not returning for the rest of the day. I guess with so many flowers at Willowwood that it had its choice of locations.
