The Last Hurrah,  Tuskegee Airman.. The first Top Guns.  Las Vegas 1949.  This print is part a collection that commemorates the heroic events in the proud history of the 332nd Fighter Group, known as the Tuskegee Airman, who triumphed over prejudice at home and the enemy abroad to compile one of the most distinguished records in military aviation. May of 1949, just before their disbandment, the 332nd Fighter Group, flying P-47 Thunderbolts took first place in the Conventional Fighter Class Division of the first ever "Air Force Gunnery Meet". Lt. James Harvey the 99th. Cant. Alva Temple the 100th. and Lt. Harry T. Stewart.
