BIO: MR. JAMES FIORENTINO
When James Fiorentino, at age 15, created a portrait of Reggie Jackson, he never dreamed he would be the youngest artist featured in the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. In 1998, he was thrilled to be the youngest artist inducted into the New York Society of Illustrators, which includes Norman Rockwell and Andrew Wyeth.
Photorealism is a result of Mr. Fiorentino’s unique watercolor technique. His artwork is displayed in museums, galleries, corporations, and personal collections nationwide. His commissioned collection includes Nobel Peace Prize recipients, US Presidents, sports legends, entertainers, and corporate executives. He is a trustee and a member of numerous prestigious art organizations. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Fine Arts from Drew University, and later received the Young Alumni Award in 2004. He was also a shortstop and four-year starter on the Drew University Varsity Baseball team from 1996 to 1999 (All Conference 1996). Many major media outlets have featured Mr. Fiorentino and his artistic talent, including: ESPN, ABC World News, Yankee Magazine, and The NY Times, and The Star-Ledger.
